If I Knew
If I knew it would be
the last time
that I see you go out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute to stop and say "I love
you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do. |

If roses grow in Heaven
Lord, Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my mother's and father's arms and tell
them they're from me.
Tell her and him I love them and miss them,
and when they turns to smile, place a kiss upon their
cheek and hold them for a while.
Because remembering them is easy, I do it everyday,
But there is an ache within my heart that will never go
away. |

A million times we
needed you, a million times we cried,
If love alone would have saved you, you would of never
died.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still,
In our hearts you hold a place, no one can ever fill.
A light from our household is gone, a voice from our
love is stilled,
A place in our vacant home, which never can be filled.
Some may think you are forgotten, though on earth you
are no more,
But in our memory you are with us, as you always were
before.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go
alone,
A part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Your precious memories are for keepsakes, with which we
never part,
God has you safely in his keeping, but we have you
forever in our hearts

Letter from Heaven
To my
dearest family, some things we'd like to say
But first of all, to let you know, that we arrived okay.
we are writing this from heaven. Here we dwell with God
above.
Here, there's no more tears of pain and sadness; Here is
just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because we are out of
sight.
Remember that we are with you every morning, noon, and
night.
That day we have to leave you when our life on earth was
through.
God picked us up and hugged us and He said, "I welcome
you two.
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while
you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you two here badly, you're part of my plan.
There's so much that I have to do, to help our mortal
man"
God gave us a list of things that he wished for us to
do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to
flight.
God and us are closest to you...in the middle of the
night.
When you think of our life on earth, and all those
loving years.
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you
tears.
But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was
some rain.
We wish that we could tell you all that God has planned.
If we were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though our life on earth
is over,
we are closer to you now, than we ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills
to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always our philosophy and we'd like it for you
too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to
you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night..."My day was not in
vain."
And now I am contented...that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as we passed along the way we made somebody
smile.
So, if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him her up, as on your way you
go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got us on
your mind;
We are walking in your footsteps only half a step
behind.
And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be
free.
Remember you're not going...you're coming here to be
with your dad and me.

Time passes by, people
pass on.
At the drop of a tear, they're gone.
Let's do what we dare, do what we like,
And love while we're here before time passes by. |
When
you were born,
you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so that when you die,
you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is
crying. |
